This is notification that eApps Hosting will be performing
maintenance events on the next two weekends – (1) Saturday December 10, 2005 from 11pm EST (GMT -5) to 5am Sunday December 11, 2005 and (2) Saturday December 17, 2005 from 11pm EST (GMT -5) to 5am Sunday December 18, 2005.
eApps Hosting is committed to providing the highest possible quality of service and therefore, we proactively notify our customers so that you may have the opportunity to manage your business appropriately.
Work to be performed:
eApps Hosting will be upgrading both the Control Panel server hardware and the HSPComplete software that runs the Control Panel. This is a two step process that will require maintenance events on two consecutive weekends.
Risk: Moderate
Impact: The Control Panel will be unavailable for up to 6 hours for each of these two maintenance events. We do not anticipate any outage of your actual VPS server or the sites that run on your VPS server. Only the Control Panel software and hardware is undergoing maintenance. The Control Panel will be unavailable for up to 6 hours during each maintenance event but your VPS server will not be affected.
Maintenance Notes:
A number of significant improvements will result from these maintenance activities, including the following.
1. Control Panel speed improvements and the ability to cluster Control Panel servers in the near future
2. Application updates to newer versions can be installed by customer without assistance and with no accounting impact
3. Advanced language support in Control Panel
4. Paypal as a payment option in Control Panel
5. Invoices and orders can be downloaded as a PDF
6. Better event reporting when customer exceeds disk and traffic allowances
7. Printer friendly view of credit and debit adjustments
8. New simplified order process for new subscriptions
9. Ability to pay multiple invoices/orders with one transaction
10. eApps will soon offer an integrated Site Builder application for easy creation of web pages
11. Numerous bug fixes and operational improvements

Risk Classifications:
Risk classifications are based upon the probability of you experiencing
a disruption in service.
(Low) The probability of an outage of your VPS service or Control Panel is minimal. The maintenance being performed should not affect normal operations of your VPS service or the Control Panel. Although the risk of a service interruption is minimal, eApps Hosting requires this work be performed during the maintenance window as a matter of policy.
(Moderate) There is will be a planned outage of the Control Panel but not your VPS server. We have taken all prudent precautions to minimize the possibility of a service interruption of your VPS server.
(High) An outage should be anticipated for your VPS Service. This is a planned outage. The maintenance being performed requires that your server be brought down in order to perform the required maintenance.
