Release Notes for Zend Optimizer 3.3.x - This release is for CentOS based plans. It provides the ZendGuard 5 encoded files. IF YOU ARE RUNNING A PRIOR VERSION, we STRONGLY recommend that you upgrade to version 3.3.x. Prior versions do not fully and properly implement the functionality of Zend Optimizer.
- Upgrading your version - This version of Zend Optimizer is not compatible with PHP 4. If you are running PHP 4 and want to run Zend Optimizer, you must uninstall that version and install PHP 5. Please see the release notes for PHP 5. To upgrade your version of Zend Optimizer from any prior version, use the following steps.
- Login to your Control Panel, click on the System tab, then click on All Applications. Verify that you have PHP 5 installed. If not, see the PHP 5 release notes.
- From the System tab, click on Upgrade Applications.
- Select the latest version of Zend Optimizer 3.3.x from the drop down list, then click the Upgrade button.
- Zend Optimizer 3.3.x should install in a couple of minutes.
